    Wasn't that the whole point of the "GT-E" - the 7 litre 427? Prolly one of the brawniest Cougs made, if not THE brawniest.

    This would be a good example of a lottery dream garage purchase. Oh, I would drive it .....

    Ah, I see - this has a 428. Some of them earlier MY(?) cars had 427's. I remember seeing this car on Hemmings' website maybe like 2 years ago in that it was going up for auction. I don't remember what it brought, but it was pretty healthy - like $60-80K range

    I would certainly like to know 1) what this car's appraised value is, and 2) what the reserve is.
