Only two photos and not a lot of description, but it could be a nice wagon for someone. It is a good color combination, and these don't come along very often. Seller is asking $4,250 and listing is on Miami Craigslist: http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/4426950539.html Ad copy: "All original car. Has only had one re-spray in it's original color. New white wall tires, brakes, shocks, springs and full engine tune-up within the last year. Runs great and everything works except the dash clock. Feel free to call for details. 954-three-nine-four-(6788). Please no calls between 10 pm and 8 am."
Looks like someone in So Fla is going to get a nice wagon! Wish there were more and info in ad. Kinda .
Yep! Although a few different cars were used in the long run of the series, the signature car was most likely the black 4 door '68 Park Lane Brougham( do I need to remind anyone how "Brougham" is pronounced?...........ok.......its "Brog-ham")
Must be the palm trees. I would love to add one of those to my Mercury collection (can you call one daily driver a collection?). snicker... I guess the Oxycodone has kicked in. mike
It's just a totally unscientific observation, but it seems to me that 1968 is one of a few years of CPs I see pop up a little more often than others (excluding the Panther chassis cars). If it's actually a decent car, $4250 is a bargain price. I wouldn't be surprised to see this on ebay in a few weeks at twice the price, once some flipper gets hold of it.
