Not original. But, updating it to how it was supposed to have been delivered from the factory. All that's missing is the floor shifter and A/C recharge of which the latter should have been done already, for that asking price. Since it isn't done, we can assume that he had it charged. But, it's leaking, if R-12 is even available for that compressor

I usually don't comment about other cars but since this is getting to be a lot of money. notice the body work on both quarters. The drivers side has no character lines and the left side has a disappearing line. Notice also the waves in the reflection from the parking lot lines. I hope who ever wants it looks carefully at the car before bidding.

He states that he will retract from the auction, if he finds it necessary to do so. At that price for a Bondo bomb, he'd have to be lucky and find the likes of Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles

I'm thinking you'd be hard pressed to find another in this condition. Very nice wagon

That's what I thought, until ALFATAR discovered Bondo pregnancy in a few places

I like it, but the Bucket seats with console and column shift looks weird to me.

In that brochure you just posted, it states that all 3 available transmissions were optional. What was standard, then? Just the hollow sheetmetal transmission hump without anything underneath?
The column shift has no business being there. Somebody should go over there and rip it out for him

Reading a bit in the 'regular' '67 full-size Chevy brochure, apparently there was a 'Regular' 3-speed synchronized manual and a 'Special' (whatever that means - different ratios, perhaps) 3-speed sunchronized manual. The 'Regular' one would have been standard on the smaller engines. Apparently on some of the higher-horsepower 327's, if you only wanted the 3-speed and not the 4-speed, you were required to also specify the 'Special' 3-speed.

I think the HD 3-speed was a Muncie 3-speed, the regular 3-speed was a Saginaw unit.

An L-36 would have torn up a Saginaw 3-speed. I think, the standard transmission might have been a Powerglide

NO, even in 1967, in America, the standard transmission........was a standard transmission.
