Hello All I'd been searching for a 1966-68 Falcon Wagon/289 for around 5 years and finally found her. 1967 two owner, all original black plate CA car, protecto-plate and receipts from the last 50+ years. COMPLETELY rust free, not even a bubble. The first owner...as the story goes, was part of the Disney/Miller family and purchased the Falcon new at Fullerton Ford. He owned it for around 45 years. Second owner was a postal worker. While filling in for a sick coworker one day, on another route, he saw it hiding in a garage. He shared his number with the original owner, giving the "if you ever want to sell it" line....4 years later he received the call. He purchased it with the intention of "fixing what was wrong", however his priorities changed and 5 years/200 miles later, he decided to sell. Since the Wagon is 100% stock, complete #'s matching, I'm not going to mess with it too much, with the exception of safety mods and a few minor, yet reliable performance mods. This wagon will be a daily driver. Work Done - So Far: Boiled/Coated Fuel Tank w/new:Sender, Lines, Tubes front to back Rebuilt 289/C4 Trans One Respray/Outside Front Disk Brakes (Grenada) ALL New OEM Front Suspension/Bushings/Shocks New Tires/White Wall Handcooks Petronix Next Intake/Carb/Exhaust New Rear Springs/Shocks Door Seals/Window Rubber (whatever I can locate) ...drive the wheels off it!
to the group. Great looking wagon. Nice intro. Have fun with your new toy and enjoy many years of cruising. I think that's the wagon Minnie used to ride around in.
Welcome to the forum... Being formerly from northern Orange County, I'm trying to picture where 'Fullerton Ford' used to be.... I know there is McCoy & Mills Ford in Fullerton, which I understand to be an old dealership. Perhaps 'Fullerton Ford' was an old name Nice wagon! Marshall
