This car was started to be a drag car and was run that way for 9 years now I own it and while it's fast I prefer to change all that into a nice solid street car using the same go fast engine.my future plans are to get rid of the 3 inch exhaust and get something a little bit quieter and has a cross over pipe.have the wondows tinted as dark as I can get them and pit 04 tahoe seats in it front and rear.I prefer the mono chromatic paint jobs but I have not made up my mind yet as to what i'm going to do it in.I currently have the 295/50/r15's on the rear and they fit tight that and 15's are getting hard to find.the car spins the tires very well so I do need something with better traction It has a 4:10 posi in it right now 350/350 combo w/shift kit. buckets and slap shifter lock out,sad it's still running drums all the way around.just might wait another year before up dating that.the car is striped down to make it a bit lighter things have been removed.I put in a new alum radiator and over flow along with a trans cooler,it has a electric fan and electric water pump.shifts hard at around 5 to 6 grand. it has set off many alarms on them much fancier cars and the neighbors just love me when I'm working on it.
Welcome! Sounds like an awesome ride! Post up some pics! EDIT: Just found the pics that you had uploaded to your Gallery. Very nice!
Welcome aboard and have fun with your build. Love those early Chevelle wagons. Currently in the process of building my own design of a 66 Chevelle Wagon into a 2dr Nomad. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29015
aboard! Cool lookin' Chevelle wagon. I'm sure you can upgrade to front discs without breaking the bank.
