    Hi,

After sneaking around here for a year or two it's time to be member and start asking some questions but first let me tell you this must be one of the best forums on the internet. Great work!

Ok, So I have a 65 that I'm going to remove all the side trim and paint light beige to start with but how do I remove the trim without breaking or cracking it?
The vinyl it self are just plain easy just apply heat gun and pull...
So any good advice are most welcome.
(soon I'm going to start the same procedure on my 75 Gran Torino Squire)

    Thanks Dennis,
(I just had some friends from Sydney over for Midsummer party here in Sweden)

You don't have any good ideas of removing the side trim easy?

    Welcome.

I've been using one for about 8 years now that releases the clips that hold the body moldings on. It also removes windshield trims very nicely. I bought it locally, but here's one place that still sells them:

    http://www.uvlisting.biz/detail/Universal-Auto-Car-Trim-Molding-Clip-Release-Tool_161324262044.html

Click on the 'Image' tab to get a good picture of it. It can handle 10 different trim release tasks, and it handles all of my Ford clip types very nicely.

You may have to replace some, so here's a few links to suppliers:

    Hope that helps.

great to see some Aussies over in Sweden as we have many visitors from your country and apparently we all like to :party6: and enjoy a :drink:or :drink::drink:. As for your moulding removal its one thing I have not experienced and it looks like Stormin Norman has that in hand  from Downunder
