    Like the idea of a Lemans wagon hot rodded up to a period correct GTO but think I would remove the emblem from the grill. Seem like a basphemy. Anyway, had several cars with vinyl roofs back in the 60s and 70s. They were not maintenance free and black vinyl can turn the interior into an oven. Hope the a/c is fully charged.

    Not the first Tempest wagon that's been converted into a 'GTO', won't be the last.

    I'm shocked though that they retained the wagons' original front drum brakes, not upgrading to front discs. It's true that front discs weren't available on the '64 Tempest/Le Mans/GTO line, but this wagon ain't at all 'original' anymore, anyways.
