Looks pretty darn good (from the first pic anyway) for $7,250. The rest of the pics ... a complete waste of time.

I have to ask this question for us Canadians who find the U.S. title system bewildering: why does the seller advertise "CA title in hand"? Because the car has not been licensed in Minnesota? (I suppose that would be the obvious answer. Just had to ask to be clear. :) )

This car is back on C/L, minus the crappy pics of the interior taken with the 8-pixel camera.

Price was firm at $7,250 when original post made. Now $7,500? That price wasn't all that "firm". :p

And what happened to the "weak starter"? Replaced? Or not?

"For sale 1964 Ford country sedan station wagon this car was picked up last year in San Diego California 58,000 actual miles with original 390 V8 four barrel and automatic transmission. Original black car with red interior this car has 58K actual miles and runs perfect. It was ordered as a base model with no power steering and no power brakes and no air-conditioning. This car can be driven anywhere and he is very roadworthy it will be sold at $7500 with factory wheels and tires and hubcaps we also have a brand-new 18 inch wheels and tires available for $8900 with both sets of wheels. This does have a clear California title and the car is still wearing the original 1963 California license plates and are currently registered. This is a very rare opportunity to get a cool station wagon had a starter price range. We are not open to offers at this time please call anytime to schedule a test drive order to view this beautiful wagon call fast

This is not a country Squire with a third seat. This is called a six seater. Which as you know is perfect because mama can sit in the middle like they did way back wen, when true love was real."

    Title

I always like to get the title changed into my name a soon as I buy it, buying a car with a title from Ca in Minnesota would make me a little nervous. Yes it sounds like he has not changed the title over in his name and registered it in Minnesota. So whose name is on the title?

Good way to get around paying taxes - and against the law...

Back on C/L, still at $7,500 (with original wheels). $8,800 with wheels shown. This time with some more, and better, pics. No pics of the interior, though.

Seller says "CA title and currently registered". What does that mean? Registered in Minnesota?

If you run into any issues getting it titled, you will have your hands full. Been down that road.

From what I've read and heard a person has a very short time, days, to transfer a title. Being in another state with Calf. title and license sounds like a problem.
It also says California tag and title in Minneapolis with an Omaha add.:49:

Looks like the guy has several cars. Are those Chevies in the background?

Maybe he just buys cars and puts them in his garage, and doesn't drive 'em.

Yes, nice colors too. A 56 Chevy wagon and a 55 Chevy sedan. Appears to be a collector with several nice buildings to store cars in.
Possibly knows good ones from bad and likes to flip them.
A friend of mine was good at finding clean low mileage cars to resale. Not a bad thing if you think about it. These guys do the work finding vehicles we may never see.
