    That is a beautiful car. I love the dog dishes on the black steelies.

    The engine and transmission were likely just resealed. There would be no justifiable reason for rebuilding both, at that low a milage.
    That's a good looking dash. Almost as if it was a few years newer than the wagon itself

    I think the thing with the dash is that not sure about the top half padding. Not sure if ‘63 a padded dash was all that common, and not sure if it would have been a two toned set up. Love the Galaxie type arm rests. I do like the dog dish wheels, but I think with that snazzy a wagon I’d do white walls and a correct wire wheel cover. It’s certainly lovely as it sits.

    Fairly well-equipped for the time, only missing the A/C. Power windows and locks were not yet available on the Fairlane.
