    Agreed. I am a total stock person, but some of the issues I have with modifications is that the person spends a ton of money on the modification to their taste. At times that can limit your audience. This car looks nicely done for what it is, but my guess is that it’s gonna be a no sale car unless that one buyer stumbles on to it. But stranger things have happened on BAT.

    i would guess the guy has $75,00 into this, and his reserve is around that. It might get to $40,000 unless like you say, he finds the right person looking for this specific car. Watching Mecum auctions on Tv, the best buys are a custom you happen to like. $100k invested sells for $35k.

    Yeah and on EBay and other sites these cars are almost always introduced with the obscene amount the owner spent to chop the top, tuck and roll the interior and the $25,000 spent on the 5 stage tinkle yellow paint job. Sorry bout your foolish taste. I can’t imagine the great ‘63 Squire you could buy with $50-$75,000 in your pocket.
