Now, I have truly seen it all.

From the comments: "‘Bring half a Trailer’" and "Considering a bid, just so I can show my wife what I just bid on. Wish me luck."

It has a clean title!! Looks like something you used to see the Beverly Hills Car Club list on ebay years ago. I cannot belive somebody is will to give over $36k (as of this writing) for that thing.

I'm out of the loop as far as what it costs to pay people to do stuff. Didn't that box Buick wagon where the proceeds went to charity a few weeks ago have a build price of $300k? I would think this would exceed that by a wide margin. You would basically have to buy another complete Corvette to make this happen. I mean, where are you going to get a frame? In the end, you will have a split window Corvette, but nothing will be original numbers matching which will be shunned in the Corvette community, so is it really worth it?

I don't mean to give anyone ideas. But, if all else fails, this probably wouldn't be the first time someone's done this :D
