http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/1689551392.html On a side note , That's the last of the Continental Six / Cast-Iron Borg Warner transmission powered Checkers, '64 and up Checkers have Chevy engines and transmissions. Checkers are awesome. You will not find a better handling 2 1/2+ ton car anywhere. Not many were saved, most just got used up. Furthermore heres among the rarest Checkers ever built. They could be had in 6 or 8 doors. Checker built them that way. I remember seeing them at San Francisco airport back in the 1980s.
mg:Thats Greeeeeeen! Those old Checkers are nice, love the smaller bumpers on the older ones like this. Wish there were more pics. I like how the seller says it's the only wagon that can haul a 4'x8' sheet of plywood
Well....the owner's wrong. I own a wagon that you can stack 4 X 8 sheets in and close the gate. And I'm not talking about my Suburban. Nice 'ol Checky though.
