Except for the amp and oil guages, it looks all original. It even hasn't got its first alternator conversion, yet. It would be interesting to see if he gets that price which would be possible were it loaded with the 409 option. Now, this is a car which looks best with black wall tires, I think. What guage was intended to be placed in the middle? It looks too small for a tachometer. It's got to be for a clock. Our neighbor had a darker red 4-door sedan of that year equipped with the 230. But, as a kid, I wasn't curious as to what guage was missing. And I know for a fact that one was missing, because the owner was a classic German skinflint immigrant. He was a German navy veteran of whom I would have liked to have questioned about war stories. But, didn't think about stuff like that, back then. He wasn't much for words, anyway
Looks Like you nailed it as this picture shows a clock in that spot on 61-62 Chevy's. Also I believe the wheels would have been Black from the Factory. Body Colored wheels were a later option.
