    1961 Buick special wagon. All original with 87000 miles. 215 aluminum v8 with automatic. Runs and drives great. Has original radio and under dash ac. Have signed and notarized title but vin tag fell off in the door jam. Will look at all trades

    Thats a Big RED flag on an other wise nice looking little red wagon! I have never sen a VIN "Fall Off" without alot of help!!!!

    I did sell a car once and started to buy it back later when the owner had moved the VIN tag because the battery or something was hidding it.
    I've seen cars so rusty that the only things left were the door jam, rivets, and the VIN tag.

    VIN Tags do not fall off unless the door jam falls off...:banghead3:

    I only looked because the little town of Alexandria, Ohio was my Dad's home town. Last time I was there, about 3 years ago, it still only had one traffic light.

    VIN tags fall off when people remove them for a repaint, and realize they can't reinstall them. There should be other body stampings to verify.
