    Hey all,
Just found forum I am from England and just bought a 1959 ford ranch wagon on Thursday, already own a 1955 ford F-100.
I will be needing a bit of help I think in sourcing parts etc in future especially rear tailgate & window rubbers.

    Thanks for now Jeeeppy

Neat car.... 2nd picture it looks 2 tone Colonial white/Inca Gold. Really nice lines, and the trim and bright work look really straight and clean.

Welcome aboard Jeeeppy! That's a great looking wagon you have there. We own a 59 Ford convertible, so I have really grown to love this year of Fords. So what are your plans for the ol gal?

At the moment just sort few window rubber (mainly),suspension, engine, & brake issues out. I will probably address couple of rust holes then just clear coat the patina.
I have twin baby girls so do not have lots of time due to them and working six days a week, so really just want to use it with them and wife going to shows and days out!!

That’s the great thing about a car like that, and your age. You and mom will have years of tinkering and lots of fun with you and the babies. How fortunate for your kids that they’ll have that old car experience and memories of shows, cruises and yes breakdowns, and all that goes with the laughter of years of those fun times. Especially when you look back on the breakdowns. Work on it, and enjoy it as you can.

Sounds like a good plan. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it.

You may also ask your friend if he has any associates or buddies that go to Hershey on a regular basis. That’s one of the biggest swap meets/ parts gatherings in the US. Also many of us here in the states, especially in the south, and southwest still stumble on those cars here in junkyards. If you have any pictures to post of what’s needed that’s a great help. Lastly go on to Dennis Carpenter’s website. He actually has bought many of the factory molds for Ford parts from the ‘50’s to ‘70s I’ve used him for parts for my ‘56, and ‘71. He’s very good, and reasonably priced, plus it’s genuine Ford stuff.

60mercman, there is none on there at all (doors or rear tailgate)
so I do not even know what to look for!as I have a rubber weatherstrip company near me I could go and take to them, the rear tailgate window has been bodged from god knows what?? Everyone seems to do all rubbers up too 58 for rear tailgate not 59 which is body 71H apparently four door rubbers same as 58 so can source those just no rear ones!!
