1959 Ford Country Squire at Rousch museum

    I was at the Rousch museum outside of Detroit yesterday. It's mostly Rousch racing cars, but there were a few others of interest, including this '59 Country Squire looking very original. It was the only wagon there.

    I looked up the dealer name on the tailgate sticker. George Harrison Ford was located in Newport, Rhode Island, so this car was originally sold there. I cannot find any evidence that the dealership still exists, at least under that name.

    There are plenty of photos of Harrison dealerships. Unfortunately, not in Newport. Looking them up, starting with George, turns out a bunch of Beatles pics. Despite Newport being located on seaside and the wagon ended up in Deetroit, it's a wonder that no salt damage is to be seen.
    While sifting through historical photos, looking for that dealership, this is what I got, so far:
