LS1-Powered 1957 Chevrolet 210 4-Door Wagon 6-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending October 4 (Lot #86,396) | Bring a Trailer LS-1 and changed the interior. Just me, but change the rive train to make it more drivable /reliable, but leave the interior stock looking.
I understand the reason a lot of people change the interior. Comfort for one, but for us it was so when my wife drives, my knees aren't up around my neck with the seat all the way forward. And she can raise the drivers seat for comfort and increase her ability to see properly. The change made the car that much more functional for us. I have kept the original seats, they are resting in the shop attic and whoever inherits it might want them, but for us going with bucket seats was the only way.
And that's what it's all about. If it makes it so an owner is able to enjoy their vintage vehicle more, I'm all for upgrades and modifications.
