Nice looking car, but somehow I doubt this is an original Country Squire. The Squire had the wood panelling, even in 1956. The Country Sedan had that exterior trim. Interiors were the same, anyway, the equivalent to the Fairlane sedans. There are a few other things about this one that just don't quite sit right, either. It seems to be sagging at the front, so either some fool cut springs, or the springs are seriously weak. The fuel filler door doesn't sit right either. There is just something about the entire car that strikes me as 'off', but I can't quite put my finger on it.

The painted on Parklane trim may almost looks real from 50 feet away.:D
How do you paint out the two extra back doors a Parklane doesn't have though?
The car does look like it may have some problems x2.
The Headlights trim should be half and half two tone also.
I had a few 55-56 Fords including a Ranch Wagon. They're good cars once you yank out the lousy boat anchor Y-block and swap in a 390, just flip the motor mounts over and it will bolt right in, easiest swap around.:)

I suppose someone could have gone to the trouble of turning their 'Squire' into a Country Sedan when all the Di-Noc turned bad. (I seem to recall another '56 like this some time back - maybe this one?)
