Not my favorite year for Chrysler products, but, I have to say....this car may well be the best original Dodge of its kind I have ever seen!(y)

I have seen some very nice ones, KK....all done up. The 56's just don't draw the big money, though...even restored. They usually go off at around $12K top dollar. Hard to say what this one would go for without a hands on look, but, my guess would be $15K-$16K tops. Likely, less. :2cents:

Because of the rarity of the D500 option on this one, I was going to put it into the $20k range.......

You may have to wait a while for the right buyer though......

Like in any population for spendy stuff, you may have 100 people who are seriously interested in buying something, but maybe only 10% have the actual money in hand to afford it at any given time. It's like me - with any wagon out there that I like!

I may have been able to pull off PT's Valiant - if it was within easy driving distance.

    USD $24,400

1 British Pound = $1.61 USD as of today.

This is worth the money, boys and girls!!! D500 cars were scarce to start with, and I'd bet money this is one of fewer than 10 wagons built. The seller is full of shiite, saying this was the forerunner of the 300 letter series...the 1955 C300, then the 1956 300B, '57 300C, etc. I'd say "no" to that claim.

Thanks for your interest in our wagon guys!

We took it in a deal recently against a Chevy Greenbrier. As you say Herb i dont think it had been used much recently. We have put a lot of hours into it to get it running and driving right.

ANY car you get against a Chevy Greenbriar is good. Personally, the only thing I'd do to a Greenbriar van is set in on fire! My Dad had one when I was a kid, and I knew at the ripe old age of three, that Dad bought a pile of $H!t, even then! They were junk new, and time hasn't made them better!!!
