Seldom seen Model when new, this one looks to be in nice driver condition, not restored to stock. At the time of posting it was only at $1700 with 7 hours remaining.

Not perfect by any means, and the seller does a good job in showing all the flaws. Basic with the 3 on the tree shifter, but it does have some options, like an AM radio, 2 tone paint (maybe not factory) Carpeting, and a passenger side sun visor, even if it is broken. Could be a cheap interesting ride.

I don't like the interior, but not a bad little car. I'd like to drive one and see how it feels. I'm assuming these are about the size of a current Ford Fusion.

Considering the time (1952), this was a fairly modern-looking automobile, and ahead of its time, considering its size.

I agree, but I bet it drives like a late 1930's car with the leaf spring rear suspension, and I think torsion bar front as I do not see any springs in the pictures posted of the front suspension. I was surprised to learn that this car has a small 161 CI OHV six cylinder Continental engine. Looking at the Pictures I would swear it has a 4 cylinder engine. But the 4 Cylinder was only available on the base "lark" models, and most of them were exported.
I also learned that these cars were still made in Brazil, long after the production line in Toledo Oh10 stopped. They made them in Brazil until 1971. So they may drive better than I think.

This car did not sell, reserve not met at $4,400

I see it is powered by a 161 OHV four cylinder, strange I was looking on 2 sites that supposedly know Willys History and they both listed it as a small OHV I-6 . Makes more sense than a 6 cylinder that small in the US market.

    Welcome back Ivy!

Thought this car looked familiar so I googled it. It looks like the Hemmings car of the day from 5/5/19. Price then was $10,000.

I like these unique, seldom seen cars. I'm sure it's not fast, (and that's probly a good thing) it's not flashy or gaudy. It's just cool. One thing is for certain; If you buy this car you'll be the only one at the cruise night with one.
