Amazing car. Sort of sad that the builder is trying to sell it before it's even fully completed. And SO CLOSE. The A/C and carpets could be done within a month or so. Something must have happened with the owner/builder for him to sell it now......

Says $85 k and ended. Wonder if it sold, or will we see it again. Hmmmm Not necessarily a fan of the wire wheels, but it’s a unique car no doubt.

Yeah, I agree about those wheels. That type of wheel was popular in the 70's, being put on those 'Superfly' type Cadillacs and Lincolns. Not the type of wheel this unit should have. I think something like this, which IS a Cadillac wheel, would look a lot better....

The ‘39 wheel cover was either a full disk that covered the wheel, or a smaller cap in the same design with a beauty ring. It was a very modern looking simple design with the crest in the middle. That would be my preferred wheel treatment. I could almost see a early - mid ‘50’s sombrero covers as a tasteful alternative but the ‘70’s kit car wires have to go.

How about some vintage Kelsey Hayes wires?
