1938 Dodge tanker truck

    I seen this truck at Hershey years back and man, what a neat truck. I guess you'd have to have a CDL to drive this thing due to the air brakes and combination. Or just maybe the weight comes in under the combination. I'd venture to say that this thing may be lower weight (empty of course)than a comparable F350 with a 5th wheel.

    From the same guy that has the 83 Rivvy in PA.

    They'd have to gear it down pretty well, in order for it to make it up a hill with a full tank. I had a more modern version of this, in my half-ton panel truck

    I'm not sure if the Feds really say anything, as it's a show truck these days, I'm sure. The minimum GVWR for a CDL endorsement is 26K pounds? I think that's what my brother told me.

    That thing is pretty loaded for the day! heck it even has a Headliner, my Mothers 48 Peterbuilt didn't have one!
