Doesn't matter that it only has 19 miles on it - it's been abused regardless.
(Might 19 miles, 1/4 mile at a time....)

    Something's wierd about this wagon.....
Notice all the lock cylinders are missing?
    Driver's door trim panel gone?
    Gunk on the steering wheel?

A 460 stock Torino is rare.........

I don't believe the miles but...I have to say that the odometer looks right. Looks not to have been tampered with. IF that is the speedo in THAT car. Looks a lot cleaner than the rest of the car.

There is a ritual of many of taking a pic of the speedo after it rolls over 100,000 miles! lol

Notice no pic of the engine?

Very peculiar indeed. Interesting how there's no grease or grime on the engine and all the factory inspection stamps and ID stickers along with original hose clamps are still in place. Just dust & rust under there...:hmmm:

Looks like the real deal to me, too bad it's that green.:(
Pontiac was the greenest , took my years to find a red '68 GTO convertible that wasn't formerly green.

I checked and it's about 20 miles from the dealer to the town the owner lived in. I don't see how it had a 1976 state inspoection a year after it was bought without being registered unless the inspection expires in '76 and it was done in may of '75?
It seems that the late owner drove it or had it delivered to his place and never moved it again. Maybe it's like that 14 mile '64 Buick Sportwagon the old lady purchased just in case she needed to evacuate because of nuclear attack. Bought new and parked in her garage and never moved. The best part is that she didn't have a driver's license and had never driven a car, she did have lots of survival supplies in the back though.:D

Same thing I was wondering, inspected but never registered? Seems you would have to have registration in order to get inspected?

I find this interesting......"ORIGINAL HAND WRITTEN WINDOW STICKER"... There must have been quite a number of people writing the window stickers, one at a time. Also, if it were never registered, then it would have a Certificate of Origin, not a title. A title is a form of registration... it registers who the legal owner is. License plate registration is necessary to legally use it on the highways.

Someone mentioned the locks missing. I noticed one photo of the tailgate has a lock and another picture doesn't.

I would would be in the market on this car for $650 and NOT A PENNY MORE. For $650 I could enjoy the solving its mysteries prior to parting out.

This car is way too fishy for me regardless of mileage.

As Fox would say "buyer beware".

It is fun picking on other people's ads/cars. I am sure my day is deservedly coming.

I think this photo sums it up. Question the detail. Where are the keys to the car? What happened to the steering wheel? What is under the red carpet?
