71 Chevrolet Kingswood estate.

Looking for a dashboard.... all kinds of interior windowstrippings. If possible a copy of a service manual. It's too rear a car to find anything in Europe, so pleeeeease HELP!! I'm in the US now, in Portland (OR) if anybody can point me to the right scrapyard or supplier...?! I would be very gratefull... will leave beginning of february.

Here's one thing I can offer:

You can use it to sort through junkyards by distance from your location.
I would also search for a Portland area classic car club, there must be quite a few.
Good luck with your search.

Oh and while in Portland say hi to my sister-in-law and her family....

Hey Dutchy,

Try searching for '71 & '72 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice instead of Kingswood Estate. The dashes are the same, and weatherstripping for the pillared sedan is similar. That might help you find some sources for parts.

Anyway.... since we're in the same country..... maybe you can advise me where to go for parts. I would realy like to come one day to a "treffen" if something like this happens over here.... I'm new to this, so any guidance is VERY welcome.
I realy want to turn this car into something nice, but like moste artists I don't have the facility or enough knowledge.... just the passion.
