    Heading out very early Thursday morning for a drive down I-5 to So Cal. In addition to meeting up with friends and family (dtr #2), I'm hoping to have lunch with Glide-Aways (Matt), and possibly taking a look at that '77 Dodge Royal Monaco that's been featured here in the auction section. (We have a very interested member).

    Going to a Ducks hockey game on Tuesday, and also hoping to take in the L.A. Auto Show while I'm down there....

    And yes, I'm driving the WAY BACK MACHINE!

    Best wishes for an enjoyable trip.
    Reminds me ---in Nov 2012 we drove a new Mustang purchased in Las Vegas back to Auburn WA. Just a dusting of snow by road in Siskiyou mountians day we traveled. That night storm hit and mountian snowy road season started. May you be lucky as we were.

    enjoy the trip as I know you will; if any time, there is always a great gathering of exotic cars on Saturday mornings in posh Rancho Santa Fe (across from Rancho Santa Fe inn) in San Diego area, from 9-11 am, called the Secret Car Club but isn't;starts my weekends off every time :banana:

    Arrived in Orange around 8:00PM (that was a 18 hour drive....). Stopped in the local In-N-Out for a double-double and fries. THEN over to visit my daughter and watch the last of the Ducks hockey game on TV.

    Going to have lunch with Matt today (Glide-Aways) at an old favorite haunt of mine, the Great Western Steak & Hoagie Co....
