Very nice. It would look good as a squire if you could pull it off.

I would like to try. I have five sheets of wood decal materal from AMT/Ertl that was issued for the '65 (I think) Lincoln Cont kit (this was reissued in the 1990s). It has a station wagon top that you can make it into a Lincoln wagon. It also included the option to make it a "Lincoln Squire".

I figure with the sheets I have and some strip styrene, I might be able to make a Squire out of that kit....I would like to add the roof rack too.....

The Modelhaus '70 "Squire" kit actually appears to be a Country Sedan - at least that's what the script on the quarter panel seems to say. The script also seems way oversized in scale. Otherwise, seems very accurate.

They have two kits, one a Country Sedan and the other Country Squire. I got the Country Squire and the rear script is a little big on it too. The wood side decals have "Country Squire" already printed on them and it looks more to scale.....

    70 country squire

    Hello,
I am the one who created the woodgrain panels for the Modelhaus 70 ford, his rear scripts were way to large so I created a smaller script more inline with the real car, click on the link below to see a few pictures, thanks, Brian

Mighty fine work, man! Having done my real car with the store-bought vinyl, all I had to do was cut straight. Painting graining is an art. No doubt about it. (y)

I have to say, they are AWESOME decals! I can't wait to start on the '70 CS. I looked at your web page, is there any chance to see a wood grain decal sheet for the mid to late 70s Pacer wagon made by AMT/MPC?

Actually the Pacer wagon woody is going to be my next project, did a version years ago before I started redBear graphics, the newer version will be a lot cleaner. Brian

WOW, that just looks, WWWOOOOOWW. I have been wanting to do that with my '77 Pacer wagon for a long time. I can't wait till you get the decals on the market, I want to order the Pinto Squire decal sheet also.....

And yes, another question. "Fresh Cherries" came out with a 1/24th scale 1979 Chrysler Lebaron wagon. I mean, its great that someone came out with that style wagon. Howver, the decals on the car, well just suck. They looked fine when I bought it 8 months ago. But they are now looking funny, pealing and shrinking....

    LeBaron Wagon

I actually started panels for the Lebaron wagon after purchasing one of the diecast cars but wasnt sure there would have been a market for them, was really pleased with the car itself but thought the woodgrain panels were really poorly done. Maybe I'll get back to that project here shortly...
