    Hey Wagonlovers,

I haven't been back here in awhile, but thought I'd drop a line letting you know I just picked up a '1958 Ford 2 dr Ranch Wagon.

I can't get pictures to upload here, but thought you might want to follow the restoration progress on a blog I have dedicated to its restoration:

She sure is rough, but I saved her from a demolition derby guy who didn't have the heart to crash her.

Wow, it looks like you've got your work cut out for you, but I can tell it's going to be a labor of love and therefore, very satisfying for you. Best of luck and nice to see you back, SD.

Thats an awsome score! I agree the 2 doors are worth the restoration. How is the interior? I will be following your blog, for inspiration to get my 62 done.

    Thanks.

The car was side swipped in 1969, and towed home. So it has sat for 41 years! Unfortunately the old shed roof that it was under collapsed many years earlier and the rain and weather took their toll. I got a new tailgate today, and I have a lead on some decent doors. I also have a lead on a front clip, which I need badly. I am actually surprised how quickly the parts are coming together for this wagon.

Stay tuned, as I think the restoration is going to get very interesting.

Don, there's a couple 1958 Ford sedans up here in a reasonable junkyard, One has a straight six, the other has no engine. I think one was a 2-door ragtop.

Some glass on both. It was a few weeks ago, sooo... they might still be there.
