Just wanted to raise some awareness for American wagon owners or people searching for wagons/parts etc. Kijiji is like a Canadian equivalent for Craigslist, seems to have eclipsed CL in Canada for vehicle postings etc. Maybe people are already aware, and maybe cross-border shopping isn't something a lot of people searching are interested in, but I thought I would just mention the site since I don't see very many listings from kijiji on here and there are quite a few decent vehicles that come up on there... Here's a few examples below of what I currently see... I hope its ok to post something like this in this section... http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/edmonton/rare-vehicle/1015300825?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...ri/1021381365?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...rk/1020587213?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true http://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...on/1026279647?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
No problem! We do have a few Canadian members that post ads from Kijiji....... Ad #1: Ad #2: Ad #3: Ad #4:
The Mercury Colony Park looks nice. Ad text: 390-4bbl, C6 auto, p/s, p/b, 81,000 original miles. Radial tires, as new exhaust, repainted and woodgrain replaced in 1980. Garage stored. Last driven in 1987. Recent mechanical repairs due to vehicle sitting. Current owner purchased as new in 1965. Colony Park was the top of the line s/w offered by Mercury for this model year. Only 15,294 produced for this model year. $15,000.00. Serious inquires only please. Anyone know the format of the current Alberta license plates? Are the ones one the car '87 vintage? Or newer?
Jim535 the plates on the wagon are definitely vintage or older than the current plates we have here in Alberta if you're just talking about a regular plate you'd get at the DMV. If you take a look at the Ford Country Squire wagon from the kijiji ads in the same thread, it has a current Alberta plate on it
