I'm seeing all factory options for '73 except for cornering lamps and Comfortron A/C! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Oldsmo...on-Wagon-/381033850137?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
On the plus side, it does seem to be well-optioned (power door locks and windows, AM/FM radio, cruise control, tilt wheel, power tailgate, air-conditioning, third seat, luggage rack, driver's side remote mirror, woodgrain siding, two-tone color, trip odometer and speed sentinel, and perhaps more we can't see (power seat?). (No rear defogger, though.) Only 60,000 miles, too. Also, the steering wheel, while it's lost some of the woodgrain applique around the perimeter, does not show the cracking and checking that many steering wheels, like the one in my car, show by this age. On the negative side, he does have some rust/paint fade/whatever here and there as he points at in one of his photos. The tailgate in particular is overall not-so-good looking with some small dents above the woodgrain. There's also stone chips all over the front end. This car would need, more than anything else, to have those dents rolled out and to be repainted. I think we've seen this car before, so he's not getting his 9 grand asking price. The market is saying something. I recently sold my '73, which was less-well optioned than this and has almost double the mileage, for close to my $4K asking price. I think this car is worth more, but not double what mine is. Maybe $5K? 6K? But, as noted, he has every right to ask whatever he wants. I do have one question. Why is the guy's leg THROUGH the steering wheel in this photo?
Top of the fender appears to line up OK with the door. I think the fender is actually sticking out from where it should be, not low. In other words, it needs to be pushed in toward the center of the vehicle. This one, although apparently a 'driver', needs a heck of a lot of work to be nice.
