Yeah, that's been for sale for a while. Nice, but way overpriced for a not-very-popular wagon. Needless to say, nobody's biting......

And the California buyer gets to smog it every two years.

What the...??? How many times are they going to try for that 14K? It's a very nice car but "expensive" doesn't even cover it. I've seen that car a half dozen times online. There comes a time when reality should set in.

I think the owner was trying to sell it himself originally, IIRC. Now it appears that a broker has it, maybe on consignment - for the same price. 'Marketing Savvy' doesn't work too well when everybody knows your price is at least 30% too high to begin with......

Don't understand these people that keep listing cars over and over for the same price. Get a clue, people! There's a reason it hasn't sold, and if there's nothing wrong with the vehicle, then do you think maybe it could be.....the price?

Among the options he lists is the "break resistant glass".......can you just picture the salesmen selling that to the new car buyer?

Probably went like a John Candy bit (as Uncle Buck) with the "unbreakable china"!

I think what happens is they get some appraiser over and get that done for insurance purposes and then that number gets lodged firmly in their head and they think they are being cheated if they take less.

For some one who needs to sell their car that can be fatal as eventually people just quit looking at it so when the price is lowered they still have it in their heads that it is too high a price.

He probably gets insulted when people offer half what he's asking.
