There's one or two guys here from Alberta. True cowboys out there. Especially in the southern part of the Province, but for a guy from Edmonton to have a buffalo, that's a stretch. It's mostly Oil and Government up there.

I still haven't figured out the difference, but my Province's icon is the Bison. I wouldn't go build a 4 door convertible for one though.:rofl2:

Yeah, I saw that too.:D There's some kind of snake in our local zoo who refused to eat mice and rats that were previously frozen (smart snake ), so they placed a live rat in the cage with her, and she won't eat her either. They're best friends! Go Figure! There's hope for hooman beans!

That is amazing! Who ever would have believed that a wild buffalo would take to humans like that. Unreal. And cool!:D

To answer Norm's earlier (2009:49:) question
Technically it's a Bison. The term Buffalo supposedly came from early pioneers calling it that because it reminded them of a water buffalo.
Sort of like them naming the Robin because it reminded them of the Euro Robin. Not even in the same family!

    1. On his own back 40 acres.
    2. Good at first, but worse as the buffalo got bigger.
    3. That's not a question.
