I'm not a fan of the new Camaro but I think it looks great as a Trans Am. http://www.lsxtv.com/forum/you-can-own-10-trans-am-2759.html#
That front end looks sweet sporting a red arrowhead. Those tail lights don't look like they belong on the car. Square them up and it might look right.
The back end is bad (and not "good" bad) on both versions. The black one is gawd-awful horrendous...truely reminescent of the abysmal plasticky Pontiacs of the last twenty-plus years - think Sunbird instead of Firebird. The back of the white one just misses the mark of any real good retro Trans-Am cues. Not sure what they were thinking. However, the front of the white one looks TOO close to the original...so close that it ends up looking kind of ridiculous. Nice idea, but I don't like the end result very much...a very expensive cartoon. David
That white one, oh yeah! That clearly has the retro look, it makes you think of 1970 all over again. Even the back says retro 70 Fire Chicken. Thats a nice car IMO....the black one with the white's tail lites or going more for the look of 77 tail lites would make the car look a HELL of alot better.
me pass on both! they both look like a fat chick at closing time. they look good at the moment but when you wake up in the morning, you wonder what the h-ll?
The Lingenfelter version (white one) was here last month to start-off the Hot Rod Power Tour; it looks even better in person. One thing I found interesting was that it had Michigan Manufacturer plates on it.
