It has been very warm 60's 70's and back down to high 50's and typically sunny here in beautiful Northern Colorado.

It must be terrible to not have seen or driven in snow. The thrill of scraping ice and snow off windows in below freezing weather, the fun driving on glare ice and snow up to the bumpers and beyond, the site of other motorists in ditches and stuck in heavy traffic, the excitement and the feeling when your backside and your fingers pucker and grip the seat and steering wheel as your vehicle heads in a direction you hadn't planned on!
Driving while wearing heavy gloves and enough clothes to cover a small Army while cussing the heater and defroster for not working.
Being late for work because the plows couldn't handle all the snow and ice, the trucks spreading salt are tossing it all over your new car, knowing by spring it will eat the underside and rockers away. The pain in your tailbone as you fall on the ice.
This is why after 20 years in sunny Florida we are moving back to the midwest. We miss all of this fun!:biglaugh:

    Storm Stayed

I had to go to Toronto on Monday morning for work. I was to meet up with a group that had gone up earlier, on Saturday, then we were all to come back Tuesday evening. However, we got an email from Air Canada late Monday saying our flight had been canceled until Thursday. :yahoo: Storm Stayed in Toronto!

This morning, on the way to the airport, the Taxi driver is telling us that we were leaving at a perfect timing, apparently they were expecting snow in the area this afternoon. :) It's all about timing.

Fannie!! You were in Toronto and didn't get in touch? For shame, Girl! At the least, we could have met for coffee! Glad you got home safely. As for the snow today, we got about 4 cms. No big deal at all.

I was actually trying to get onto the site to do just that but I was having trouble with the hotel pc and was not able too??? We were up for the Buying Shows at the International and Congress Centers. Very full days but it sure would have been fun to have met during the evening.
Sorry it didn't work out...another time, right?

Toronto is getting snow right now. Expecting up to 20 cms, or about a foot. Bloody lovely.
