The seller knows what he's talking about. These 2-door Chevelles are VERY desireable, particularly by the hot rod / resto mod crowd. He's got an all-original, clean unit. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets his price.

That is a sweet machine. You never see the two door wagons restored and certainly not to that level. They are almost always invariably modded/cut up/hacked up. The only way it would be better is if it were somehow an original L79 or L76 car.

I've never seen one this nice and I looked for one for years. There were a few for sale, but highly modified and usually for racing, and I wanted something "close to stock", meaning something along the lines of a L-79 or?????? was quite willing to put my own power train in it, but didn't want to pay big dollars for a motor/trans that were to me garage sale items.

It is gorgeous. It should be in my garage. It needs to be in my garage. According to the DW, it is NOT going to be in my garage unless I can fit it beside my bed, which will be going in to the garage if I bought this wagon :rofl2:.

    Oh well.............

Having owned a '65, of which only 1800 were produced, I'm aware of their rarity!
Ended up being a 'Z-16' type clone/never built with a 396, T-400, 3:55 12-bolt, 12 second street driver, just needed paint when I was offered $1000 for the motor!
Never got it back together, and sold the body for $2000 - broke about even!
Wish I could turn back time!!
