What a FANTASTIC pic of my car taken by JB Photography at the Round Rock Cars and Coffee show yesterday.

Popped up on the Cars and Coffee site this morning. Didn't even know he'd taken this!

    I'm speechless! Ha!

Car is going to be a movie star so you better get used to paparazzi taking pictures while you are unaware. Some, like this one, will look great. Others may be embarrassing, like maybe with bird crap on the windshield or a puddle underneath making it look like something leaked, or maybe even a dog lifting his leg on a tire. So far, the paparazzi have been kind.

Will movie production people question the X-11's tires for not being 'period correct', or is that going to not be a factor?
A little electrical tape would probably work to cover the white letters.....

I'd almost swear Radial T/As came out around the same time as "Smokey and the Bandit." Course, I could be wrong.

Radial T/As were certainly around before 1984. There was also a white wall version called the T/A Advantage. I had a set on the 84 Delta 88, and then again on the 89 Grand Marquis. My second favorite tire. My favorite, though, is still the Comp T/A HR-4, white wall, and H speed rated. That turd sure does look good, though!

You've certainly got the nicest X-11 Citation on the planet! Only one left???

That car brings back memories of when these first came out in 1979, watching them come off the carrier at the Chevy dealer I worked for then.

I saw an old X-11 delivering pizzas a few months ago. Yours is much nicer.

Thanks all. I'm planning to re-paint it next spring, and have a list of to-dos, but it's a keeper!
