Rare combination of vinyl roof but no wood grain. A/C, cruise control, power tailgate, chrome Buick road wheels, power windows and 3rd seat for just $3995. Should go fast!

Looks like it was a Amblewagon =ACC offered their Amblewagon conversions through 1978 but the 1973 EMS Systems Act* eliminated the possibility of any passenger car-based ambulances beyond 1977 so wagon-based Amblewagons soon became extinct.

Engine is the wrong color or in fact replaced with newer.

I LIKE this! Why do all the reasonable SOLID cars have to be so damn far away!

Wow! Nice one and a good price! A turn key car for the money, doesn't need brakes or a battery. Well done!

I don't see any modifications for the Amblewagon conversion - even has the third seat. Any 'professional vehicle' experts out there that can hazard a guess as to what this wagon was used for?

My guess would be a first call vehicle. Picking up the deceased from a home etc. All you would need is a cot bar as in the pic of my Buick ,fold the seats down and you have a flat surface for a gurney which attaches to the cot bar.

Could also have been the "flower" or pall bearer car.
