    Hi all.

    Just a quick hello & a little about me & cars, I'm married with 3 kids 21, 18, 14.

At present I drive this Lexus LS400.

But tomorrow I'm going to have a look at this 88 Country Squire, so here's hoping that by this weekend it will be mine (y).

And then at weekends I crew on my mates Nitro Altered.

We have a choice of 7 words that you can't use on Radio and TV, but you found a way to get them all in there in spirit. SOB is still acceptable, though.

How can the guy take your deposit in good faith and then backend you like that?! Surely English legal precedents would stand up for you! PITA for sure.:taz:

it was only a holding deposit so I could have a look at it as it's about 300 miles from me, with no commitment to buy but i'm pi**ed because if he had said someone was looking before me I'd have tried to get up to see it sooner.

    I see what you mean.

Well, we've got other EU and UK members with their antennas up. Post something in the Cars/Parts wanted and see what happens. (After you calm down a bit, of course - maybe a month... :biglaugh:)

Hey -with a little more 'alteration', that altered couldsuit your needs. A little snip of the chassis here, a little fiberglaswork there and presto chango, you've got your wagon. Should tow a good sized trailer, too.......LOL

    Welcome to the forum, Ken

    Cheers Rev

Yep got the deposit back no problem, the only problem now is that good station wagons in the UK are about as rare as rocking horse S**T.  & I suppose your right about the Altered because as soon as we fire it up their ain't a lot that makes you feel so good. :thumbs2: :yahoo:
