Drove Villager today from shop to shop.
Short drive but nice. Look forward to regular driving and car shows.
    Had underbody rust spots repaired.
Next is install new gas tank, electrical, weather stripping, etc...
After that is tires and suspension shop.

Bought it to have one wagon in collection.
You guys, this forum, and Villager are getting me hooked on wagons.

    Happy wagoning to all

I believe I've seen this one for sale in the past. Did you buy it? Or were you the person selling it? I love your collection.

Nice. I'm betting your Edsel turns alot of heads; there's nothing like driving a long roof!

That is a very beautiful car you have there. This weekend is the Vintiques Northwest Nationals here in town and there is a ton of vintage iron traveling around. I saw a 59 Edsel wagon yesterday, kind of a teal blue. It was clean, but not as nice as yours! Thanks for sharing and enjoy it.

    Thanks for comments/interest.
    Got progress to report :yippee:
New radiator, gas tank, headlight switch, speedo cable are in.
New radial wide whites are on. Nice! Will take pics.
Working on weather stripping. Have most. Found what should work for the rest including new window channel. Order it soon.
Got cut to size hinge for spare tire well top. Need to drill matching holes for mounting screws.

    Next stops:
    > exhaust shop for duals
    > suspension shop for inspect and replace as needed.

Man, you're either independently wealthy (COUGH*inheritance*COUGH COUGH) or you've worked for Boeing for many decades....:jumping:

I can see why you would want to put dual exhaust.
No wonder it's getting done so fast with the crew you have there. Looking good!

Hey what happened to your post??? Did the moderators delete it because it was too awesome???

Moving Villager posts to - "what have you done to your wagon lately"

That correct? Or continue them here?
