Hey I like it. Looks far better than most SUV's and other Flexthingies.
I love the red color and woodgrain on the dash. What it really needs is another liquer cabinet in the back seat to take the owner's mind off future car payments.
That engine should be as reliable as the old NorthStar.

The Aztec and the Buick Rendevous were identical cars under the skin, yet the Buick received raves and the Pontiac is generally panned as the ugliest vehicle so far of the 21st Century! Plus the dash of the Aztec is very, very nice! Smart layout with pleasant looks. The Cadillac version (if real) will be an $80K car, you watch.

Good friends of ours had a Pontiac G6 (his) and a Buick Rendevous (hers). He asks me about cars, and I keep recommending Ford products, but he has a relative at a GM dealer somewhere, so he won't buy anything else.

I've known about the Aztek / Rendevous connection, and I think the Rendevous is pretty much just as ugly as the Aztek. Went for a few drives in it (back seat) and it is fairly comfortable, considering it was built off of a minivan platform. Got a call from the buddy a couple of months ago, seems the Rendevous engine has committed suicide........ Cost of repairs was approaching the current value of the vehicle, so they scrapped it. Therey're down to just the G6 now for a while, and that one's getting a bit long in the tooth as well. It also has one of these GM customer experiments (you know, let your customers do the long-term reliability tests...). It's got one of these multi-panel moonroof thingies. Yup - he's had quite a few problems with it. Don't see it showing up on any other GM cars, so I guess this idea was a bust.

That multi-panel moonroof- sunroof - hole in the top thing is rediculous! My VW with the folding canvas top looked at least that nice.
