airbrushed woodgrain...

    duuuude were you like paintin vans in the 70,s and 80,s man,,,,,remember the painted woodgrain on the van stuff in the olden days??? anyhoo that stuff looks nice :wave:

    Im actually going to a workshop in vegas this coming week and one of the things we'll be mastering is wood grain..cool thing is, you can wood grain almost anything! I originally planned on doing my 2tone on the wagon with the woodgrain..and on the rear i was going to make it look like someone carved in it..maybe my business logo or something. But I cannot resist the scheme I have planned now.

    a guy I know did up a 62 Colony Park a couple of years ago...
    he had a guy(who freekin rocks) airbrush all the trim..the sides...the door sills...the air cleaner...the rad support..all kinds of pieces!!..
    to look like real wood!!!...its bloody beautiful...and expensive!!;)

    that mailbox rocks!!:)

    I will endeavor to get some close-up shots of Mick Hoglund's work that I posted on-car pix of within the woodgrain sub-forum in here. I need lots of light to get my crap-@$$ camera to work.
