Seems to be in pretty good shape.
Ad says it has 'leather upholstery'........actually known as 'vinyl' in the late 70's.

Yeah....I crack up when I read ads that claim "Leather' in a 1970's car. I know darn well it's vinyl. The young guys today have no clue that it was rare to find leather in any car back then other than Lincolns, Caddys and Rivieras.

Looks pretty stock. Those tinted plastic things are a pain to get off. I'm surprised he couldn't find a buyer in CA.

I'll have to keep an eye on it. If it sells cheap enough, maybe I can figure out a way to get it. Maybe I'll sell the Explorer:victory:.

Anyone got an idea what the shipping would be for that (Calif to Michigan)?

I checked. It would be about $1100 to ship that car on an open hauler. That's ok, I like the one I have now.

That's a deal-breaker alright. I hope to do some local barn-hunting this summer.

I just got an E-mail from the owner. He said he'd take $1400 for the car right now. That's not a bad price, and he said it'll drive anywhere.
