I'm bidding on a 1987 Ford Crown Vic, one owner, documented. However, photos show a velor front seat with vinal rear and third seat. I'm asking any of you Ford guys if it might have come like this ?
    Thanks
    Grumpy

One of the previous owners probably swapped the original back seat, for a vinyl one to protect the fabric from thier messy kids.

Velour Feels nicer, and is more comfortable than Vinyl, but vinyl is easier to clean.

My Dad's old 79 Buick Estate Ltd Wagon had same thing.

I kinda figured it was a replacement. Was able to do a veh check and the car apparently spent its entire life in one town in NJ, purchased from the local dealer.
Been trying to find a clean, large wagon, none in my area, so I've been e-bayin for a few weeks. Been outbid on a couple but I'm still trying.
