It is a beauty. I wonder how rare a 2-seat (6-passenger) '85 Electra Estate wagon is?? I think that by '85, most of these wagons were ordered with the 3rd seat, especially the Electra.

It looks like that is about the only option this one lacks, which may hurt it since most wagon nuts like to have the 3rd seat.

Well here's one member (me) who won't be looking at it. :29:

Were two-seat wagons still an option in later years such as 1988? I realize I could remove those seats from my Colony Park, but I mean straight from the factory. The late 1980s Caprice wagon my Dad had was a three-seater, I'm not sure about other cars yet.

I believe for the box wagons it was a bit more complicated than just plug in the seat cushions........

Not sure. To be honest, I thought that by 1985, all of these GM box wagons had the 3rd seat as standard equipment, but apparently not.

I thought the same but they could have been removed..?? My 87's were removed before I got the car and it did have the 3rd seat.

Bid up to $5277 on eBay. Looks like it may finally get to the craigslist price of $5950. This is as nice a GM box wagon as we've seen in awhile.

Huh, I should see how far this one goes. Hey, Did anyone else here see that brown 1985 Caprice that had about 6,000 miles on it when it sold on eBay in 2008?

$6866 with just over 12 hours left and reserve still not met - this is very high for a 1980s GM full-size box wagon!!!! :)

    Sold at $7,700.

BTW, I've seen 1991 Ford Country Squires going for over $5,000 if they're in good enough shape. They're last-year Fords.
