I think there's some sort of a website where you can have cars scheduled to be dropped off and picked up. It works like this: Someone needs to get to another town, so they drive the car there and they leave it somewhere maybe paying for gas, I don't know. I read of it somewhere in "The Cheapskate Next Door" and I still have the book so I can look it up.

I'm a cheapskate but no way would I let a stranger drive my vehicle to another town.
Be my luck it would end up in Mexico or Cleveland.

And in the case of a station wagon, I'm surprised they didn't also use "surf".

Yeah, if the person driving is not reliable I see your point.

    OK then.

Car transport companies I've contacted require the vehicle to be in "running condition", including functioning brakes (I asked :)).

That's why "bring a trailer" is probably the best option.

Sounds legit,,, BTW.... I have a bridge for sale, selling cheap and great opportunity for some to buy for a screaming deal to flip and make a huge profit and or keep it and charge a toll fee, one owner and original 70k cars have driven over it. PM for more info and pics of the bridge, cash only and no trades.....crayon title in hand, shipping is left to buyer.:rofl2:

Be sure to watch Vanishing Point before you let someone else drive your car. Trip from WA to PA will cost more than the car is worth.

Highest bid was $5,300 and reserve not met. I think the seller's expectations are a bit too high for this car.

HA! I have good friends in Cleveland. I forgot more than I ever knew about that place. I remember when Cleveland had Indians.
