    Coolant leaks

I add a dye to my coolant and watch it with a black light. It shows up great !! Got the dye at my local parts store, but see it everywhere. A few years ago I went to a waterless coolant (Evans Waterless) and now have no worry about corrosion/water based problems. Plus it lasts forever. Maybe a consideration for all you wagon owners out there ??

Well all I did to my wagon today was clean and clean and clean and went to a local cruise-in. We had a local Super Chevy show at the Bristol Motor Speedway today, but I plan on going to tomorrows events.

Here is from this evenings cruise and I am going to slip in a vintage scene from the same place in 1959!!

Waiting to be able to parallel park...

Some singin' and dancin' down by the square...

I loved this '56 Cadillac Fleetwood... it had factory A/C too...

Cruisin' home again at 55... lol.

Now, a scene from 1959, then again in tonight in 2014. :) (This little town is 22 miles from my house)...

I actually got a call two days ago and was told that the rear door stationary vent window seals are done and on their way and they are about halfway done with the quarter window seals, so pretty soon on those two. Maybe don't put them on your red flag but just know if you ever want something done by them you need to contact the president/owner of the company to get things moving.

Good luck timmo. I also think it helps to post these things. Often someone at the companies does read them on various sites. I'm sure they'd rather see positive feedback any day.

    Somerset Cruise

I've been really busy at work since my partner was T-boned on his motorcycle and will be out for months, so I needed a break and road up to the Somernites Cruise in Somerset, Ky with the Power Cruise from Chattanooga. Great day for it, not Africa hot & no rain. Followed a really clean 63 Thunderbolt tribute car up there and parked next to it and a nice 63 Comet S22 vert. There were probably 1,500 cars there, but just a handful of wagons. There were only 2 wagons in the Power Cruise, me and a clean Volare. Here's a few pics...The guy with the Falcon 2 door wanted my wagon and I offered to swap keys, but he wasn't going for it! The Dodge had a Max Wedge engine. Not sure what the little rusty wagon was, but I want to say Crossley?

    Took out the wifey

I finished buffing and waxing the county sedan, so I decided to take my wife out for her first cruise in our new wagon. She was really enjoying the ride, grinning ear to ear. It was cool to see how much fun she was having, and she wasn’t even driving.

That's exciting, but I'd keep an eye on the keys or you find out how much fun it is from the other side of the car. :)

Yesterday, I spent most of the day flying home and as soon as I got home, I pulled the front differential so I can drop it off today to have the ring and pinion swapped to match the rear.
