Strange how the exterior looks good, but the interior looks like it came from a junkyard dog?

I never know what it means when someone describes the engine as "running" (their quotes, not mine). It sort of runs?

But I agree, it is very tempting. :)

Six of the pictures show the car on a trailer. That leads me to believe that the guy just bought the car and doesn't know a lot about it. I'd be curious to know what the other side of the car looks like. Why not take a few pictures of it as well? He either doesn't know how to get the rear window down or it doesn't work. Evidenced by him taking a picture through the glass.

It is a rare car, but the price seems high in my opinion.

at least the damage to the left front fender didn't hurt the woodgrain or side trim, that looks to be a fairly easy fix......

I never understand why sellers don't get the crap out of the car before taking photos.

Agreed about the high asking price. It's off by a factor of two.

    Seconded.

The woodgrain looks non-original, and I've never seen a remote filter (is that the oil filter or the fuel filter?) bolted to an AC compressor before. I'd need to see the factory shop manual before I'd accept that as a factory install.

It looks like he's taking that pic of the cargo area through the side window, not through the tailgate.

I was going to say that I thought Jaunty's $3750 estimate was low-balling, but after looking at the interior pics more closely, I'm beginning to come around to his way of thinking. That won't be cheap or easy to restore or even to make acceptable looking.

I'd assume "running" means it technically runs, but not well. Don't count on being able to drive this one home; take a trailer.

I'm told the '63s and '64s drive and handle noticeably better than the '62s.

Looks like a well loved Wagon based on all the junk in the interior.

I'll bet it was bought to flip. The stuff in the backseat look like emergency gear for a limp home to me. I'll bet the $7,500 is a price that is thrown at the wall to see what will stick.

Bet there is lots of negotiating room on this one for someone who shows up with cash and is willing to walk away...

    Ohhh reallly..!?!?!?!?!

The VIN was Federal requirement starting in 1968, before that,
Ford only stamped some high performance motors.....
    Same with transmissions .......
