Cousin visiting with his remarkable '77 Country Squire. It's also loaded, original and beautiful. Submitted by: 77T&C
What a pair of wagons, and in front of the PERFECT house to show the pair off! You must (or at least should) be the envy of the neighbourhood!
Judging by the license plate on the Chrysler, this appears to be in California somewhere. Makes sense, because that is clearly an Eichler-designed home. Well-known 'mid-century' architect. There were quite a few Eichler developments in Southern California, as well as some in the SF bay area. Homes typically had low-pitch roofs (as pictured), exposed beams, central atriums, carports or single-car garages, some built-in storage units. Very desirable on the used market Even some realtors around who specialize in them. Their market value usually runs 25% more than a comparable 'regular' tract house.
