Why post a ad and not list a asking price? It just doesn't make any sense to me. I can accept the wrong engine size but not the asking price. Tom
The words in the ad "CLASSIC CAR" in all caps tells me that they probably think it is worth more than what I do. It is just my opinion that when someone has to point out it is a classic car, they probably don't know much about the wagon or classic car market. I do think it is a very nice wagon that seems to be in above average condition.
I thought that was just a general comment about Ford 302's that he happened to stick in the middle of his ad. More of a FYI like this: Egg McMuffins are on sale at McDonalds !!!! I killed three people after work yesterday. I like how Egg McMuffins taste.
67-69 Z-28's hadthe chevy 302. Basicly a 327 with a 283 crank and all the high performance goodies of the day. I am sure this car has a 305. But I do not recognise the color of the engine looks like a ford color to me. But it looks like a Chevy engine? But I am no expert on 79 and Later Chevy engine colors.
I thought the color looked odd as well. The corporate blue of that era was much lighter. Could be a rebuilt or replacement engine.
Definitely a small block Chevy, and likely a 305. The color and type of paint looks wrong. Maybe the engine was rebuilt or repainted. Weren't Target motors dark blue like that?
