I don't think it's the light playing tricks, it looks like a different colour.

Nice wagon for sure, personally I'm not that crazy about the cloth seats but I wouldn't kick it out of my drive way because of. I had a same/similar interior 74 sedan way back, was a darn nice highway floater with the 460. I bout it to flip, the car needed a rad and rotors so I bout a 77 ltd wagon with the 400 for a parts doner...... well that wagon is what got me hooked and I used parts from the sedan on the wagon and kept it for awhile before flipping it, good car and ran great but I swear it used way more gas and didn't come close to the power of the 460. If I remember my whole investment for both cars was under $500, sure do miss the old days:(

It may not be light playing tricks, but in this photo, it does not look that dark... I mean in comparison to the rest of the dash.

If it is black and replace, it is possible the old one was broken and replaced and this one hasn't been recolored yet.

The cloth seats is a plus for me... I would take any '74 Squire Brougham how I could get it... you don't see too many anymore.

Either way, I would like to know the asking price. It is out of the question for me, as this car is a long way from eastern Tennessee. :(

Still looks like a completely different colour, not the light playing tricks to me......

Is the glove box half open, or half closed????:hmmm::juggle:.....:biglaugh:

But yeah, a very nice car all around, even if the glove box has been changed with a different colour for what ever reason.
    :rednose:

Just clued in as to what is different compared to my sedan, my sedan was a full bench seat. Looks like this wagon has a reclining passenger seat witch is a extra bonus.

Reclining seat is a "Brougham" feature.

Yeah, too bad we don't know the price. I actually emailed the seller via the ad... never heard a word.
