That won't last long, wish it was on the east coast.

I wouldn't call it tremendous, towel on the driver seat must be covering a lot considering you still can see a lot of splits/rips/tears on what is visible on the drivers seat.

Needs s close look, but it certainly has a decent price going for it. And you can probably be assured that it has a solid chassis and body.

Very nice looking, especially for the price! If I were a Ford guy, I'd seriously think about it, especially being in my time zone.

Someone nab this car before it ends up in a demo derby! 85 was the first year for leather, and that is what is wrong with the driver's seat. It cracks with age and use, no matter how carefully it is treated. That is why I prefer cloth. Otherwise, this car is a bargain and a half by the look of it!

It's over 3,000 miles away from me. That's not an excuse, but is there a point to me buying it or should it go to someone else?

I guess that depends on how much you like/want this particular model. :) I once bought a wagon that was over 2K miles away from me. I wanted it so badly that I spent nearly $2K to ship it home. But that was because I REALLY wanted it to drive, enjoy and (the intention was) to keep. On the other hand, if you're thinking of flipping it, I'd say don't bother, as it's unlikely you would come out ahead on the deal just due to the shipping element. Only reason I'm not going for it (despite it being close to me) is that it's a Ford and I'm a Chevy guy.

Just my two pennies on the matter. :)

I've bought cars that were 2,000 miles away. Not a big deal. You want it, you go and get it. The people that lose out are the people that won't go beyond a 50-mile radius of their home.

That is why a pickup and a car hauler trailer come in real handy.

Excuses, Excuses. I know, it's silly - this car is this car so it's not as if I can buy it later on unless someone drives it closer. Although if a car like it shows up much closer at that same price I could buy it to flip it, after working on it.

You know what? I've upped my search radius and distance I'm willing to travel.
